I remember years ago, reading Stephen King's Memoir of the Craft - On Writing, where he stressed that the best writers are readers too, and no matter where you go, you should take a book with you. I followed that advice, lugging around a twenty pound purse daily! 

Well, fast-forward a couple decades to the era of e-books and, wow, how life changes! I can't believe I waited so long to download Kindle. Works by my current favorite author, Carian Cole, are now at my fingertips on my iPhone, and it's truly a beautiful thing.
